AUSTRALIA DAY!! I love this holiday! I’m not too sure why it just makes me feel happy! So grab a flag and wave it proud! Put on your glow sticks and go watch the fireworks! The fireworks were very multicultural this year; Mix 94.5 did the radio for the Lotterywest Skyworks and did it very nicely. I loved the bit where they got everyone to bring out their torches and/or mobiles and shine them out over the river and wave them. It was all really fun! The fireworks were better last year, in my opinion, but they were alright this year to we just didn’t get a great view. I went to the fireworks with Catherine, Christina, Jonathan, Natalia, Kirsten, Sebastian, Jordon and Hayley. Hayley brought heaps a glow stick! She was covered in them! But I got some to, it was fun.

I haven’t blogged in a while and I was supposed to blog about Sydney, but I didn’t really think about it the week after I got back and I went up north to Dongara for most of this week. So I might up date about stuff tomorrow because it’s around midnight and I’m too tired to update fully right now. So I’ll try tomorrow. Bonne Nuit.

Sydney.

Friday, January 4, 2008

So I’m in the Qantas club lounge at Perth domestic airport. I spent today packing to go to Sydney, well half of my day anyway, and now it’s just a little while now and I’ll be on the plane to Sydney. I couldn’t find my mp3 player or headphones though which sucks but I’ll live without I guess. I’ll be gone ten days which used to seem like a long time when I was little but not so much anymore. So why am I going to Sydney? You ask, I am going for church, I have gone every year since I can remember, it’s weird this year because I’m an agnostic now I don’t like this religion all that much, but since I am only thirteen I have to go. But it’s ok because there are people my age so I’ll get some social interaction, yay me! And we are going three days early so I we are going to the Blue Mountains and we are going to see some family friends and we are going to Paddy’s markets and I think we are going to a garden of some sought but I’m entirely sure. I’m enjoying the Qantas club lounge life for the little time I will spend here before I have to go. My dads a gold Qantas club member because he flies a lot for his work, he’s a railway engineer, so whenever I fly somewhere with him we always get to go to a Qantas club which is really fun, so I always have something to look forward to for when I have to go to Sydney for church. Anyway I’m boarding in a few minutes so I’ll have to leave it here I’ll blog again tomorrow and tell you about the Blue Mountains.

Until then x Elizabeth.
